When you connect apps to Rethink, we generate links to the original version and then show those links in the connected apps windows like shown below.
You may notice that on the left hand side of each of these files is a small grey icon. This icon will tell you that the file is a link because by default, files from your connected apps appear as links to the original version. When you click on one of these links, the file will open in it's native app in a new tab.
To store files directly in Rethink, first you will need to add the file into one of your "Cloud Drives". To do so, click on the three dots on the right side of one of your files and select "Add to Cloud Drive" or drag and drop the file directly into your drive!
Once you have moved the file, this window will appear:
You will be given the option to either link the file to your drive or to store it. If you choose "Link File", the linked file will be added to your drive which will open the file in it's native app. If you choose "Copy File", the file will be stored onto your drive which can be opened from within your Rethink account. Only the latter option will use space on your Rethink storage limit.
Once a file is stored, it will have a green check icon instead of the gray link icon:
